Course Overview:
This is a qualification designed for individuals who are responsible for leading internal quality assurance (IQA) processes within organisations. It focuses on developing the skills and knowledge needed to manage the internal quality assurance of assessment processes and ensure they meet the required standards.

This qualification is part of the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) in the UK and provides the learner with the competence to:

Lead a team of assessors or internal quality assurers.

Plan, monitor, and evaluate assessment and quality assurance processes.

Understand and implement relevant policies, procedures, and standards in assessment.

Develop and maintain effective working relationships with assessors, learners, and external stakeholders.

Manage and enhance the assessment and quality assurance systems.

    • Understanding the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of assessment

  • The qualification will be assessed by a portfolio of evidence. Your personal assessor will conduct monthly meetings via Teams to review and develop your progress towards the qualification.

    All assessments need to be passed, and each will directly assess the knowledge, skills and behaviours of the qualification

  • After this programme, you could progress to the Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training.
